You can customize your own TMNT frame in with any artwork you like. Have fun creating scenes with your favorite comic book panels. Add a little Mod Podge or glue and you have custom TMNT room decor or a great fandom gift.
This tutorial is the final part of a three-part craft project to create a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Desk Set. DIY TMNT Frame
MATERIALS YOU WILL NEED
frame
decoupage sealer like Mod Podge
paintbrush
scissors
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles artwork printed out on regular paper
cutting mat
Xacto knife
STEP BY STEP INSTRUCTIONS
Remove the back and glass from your frame and begin figuring out how you want to place the artwork. Cut the art into strips or trim out the characters you want to use. Before you glue anything down, arrange all the pieces.
Working from the bottom up, glue on the artwork pieces, using decoupage sealer. Gently apply a coat of sealer on the top of the finished collage and smooth out any air bubbles with your finger. Be careful not to touch the paper too much or the ink will start to smear.
Once the sealer has dried, use your cutting mat, Xacto blade and a pair of scissors to cut away the extra paper.
Apply a second coat of sealer on the frame and let that dry completely as well.
The final step is to put a photo into your frame.
