You will have to make one to find out! Luckily this TARDIS Backpack is easy to make with just a few craft supplies. I even found my blue drawstring bag at the dollar store! This tutorial shows you how to paint a TARDIS on any bag to show the world that you are a Whovian.

DIY TARDIS Backpack
MATERIALS YOU WILL NEED
blue drawstring backpack
a piece of chalk
ruler
white fabric paint
paint brush
black fabric marker
STEP BY STEP INSTRUCTIONS
Start with a clean blue backpack and a reference picture of a police box. Using a ruler and a piece of chalk, trace out the top portion of a TARDIS on the bag.
Outline all of the chalk lines with black fabric marker.
Using white fabric paint and a paint brush, fill in the white portions of the lower left hand sign and the window panes.
To complete the top banner that says police box, outline the letters and fill in the banner with black fabric marker. Then use white fabric paint to add the lettering. Let the paint and marker dry completely before continuing.
When the paint is dry, use a damp paper towel to remove all of the chalk lines. Use the black fabric marker to make any needed touch ups.
Refer to your reference image and use a black fabric marker to complete the sign on the front of the police box.
Put the bag in a hot dryer for a few minutes to set the fabric paint and your project is done.
