DIY Mickey & Minnie Books

MATERIALS YOU WILL NEED

Two 4×6 black sketch books
red glitter crafting tape
white glitter crafting tape
optional one-inch circle punch
white or yellow plastic buttons
small craft scissors
glue gun and glue sticks

STEP BY STEP INSTRUCTIONS

Red Tape: Cover the Minnie Mouse book with four strips of red glitter crafting tape.  Put one strip of tape across the bottom of the Mickey Mouse book. Carefully trim the extra tape off the Minnie book and add the piece to the Mickey book. Trim off all of the extra red tape around both books.

Buttons: Hot glue two buttons to the Mickey Book.

White Tape: Cut out a dozen or so one-inch circles out of the white glitter craft tape. You can do this with a craft punch or you can use scissors. If you use a craft punch, make sure the glitter side of the tape is facing the top of the punch. If you have the plastic side up, the tape can get stuck.

Stick the circles onto the book with some of them over the edge, in a random, yet somewhat evenly spaced, pattern. Trim off any of the circles that are sticking over the edge of the book.
