Sarcasm will keep you warm in this Die Hard Sweater
I always get a laugh or a smile when I wear my Die Hard Sweater around town during the holidays. Make friends with other fans and have a Die Hard Christmas with this sweatshirt craft. All it takes is a light gray sweatshirt, and a red fabric pen or fabric paint and you can create a John McClaine classic.

DIY Die Hard Sweater
MATERIALS YOU WILL NEED
heather gray sweatshirt
red fabric marker
painter’s tape
iron
ironing pad
STEP BY STEP INSTRUCTIONS
Heat up your iron and work on top of an ironing pad. Start with a light gray sweatshirt and a red fabric marker.
Look up a sample of the sweatshirt from the movie online. and work from this example
Put on the sweatshirt and tape off the area where you want the lettering to be. This ensures that none of the writing will end up too far left or right under your arms or too low to be legible when you’re sitting down. Also make sure your sweatshirt is ironed and smooth before you start the writing.
Next it’s time to follow your picture and replicate the sweatshirt from the movie. Work slowly to make sure you are copying the handwriting as closely as you can.
Once your lettering is done remove the tape and iron the lettering with a hot iron and no steam. This will set the fabric marker. You can also throw the sweatshirt into the dryer to set the marker.
