Decorate a Tissue Box with Hogwarts House Crests
Now you can make a Hogwarts House Crests Tissue Box to decorate your room and show your love of Harry Potter and your favorite Hogwarts House. You can make your box with all the crests or customize it to be all Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw or Slitherin. Whichever house you identify with the most.

DIY Hogwarts House Crests Tissue Box
MATERIALS YOU WILL NEED
blank tissue box cover
black acrylic paint
gold acrylic paint
mod podge hard coat
scissors and a paint brush
STEP BY STEP INSTRUCTIONS
Start by painting the entire tissue box cover in a flat black acrylic paint. Let the black paint dry completely before continuing
Next I decorated the oval opening and the box edges with gold paint. I started out using a gold metallic paint pen, but switched over to acrylic paint for a smoother application. The pens were a little difficult to use on the corners.
While the gold paint is drying, download and print out the Hogwarts house crests you want to use on your tissue box. I put a link below the video to the pattern I used. I put a different house on each side, but you might want to theme your box all to one house crest.
Trim out the artwork and Mod Podge each image onto a different side of the box.
Make sure to cover the entire side of the box and not just the image so that it will have the same amount of gloss on the entire piece. Also, make sure to seal the top of the box as well. Mod Podge will cure completely in 28 days. But you can use your tissue box cover once the paint and sealant are completely dry. A few hours should do it.
