Paint a one of a kind Boba Fett Purse

I made this Boba Fett purse for ONE DOLLAR! Yep, I found the purse for a dollar at a local thrift store. I knew immediately that I could turn it into a one-of-a-kind Star Wars-themed purse. I had been eyeing a Boba Fett Purse online for a while. It is super cute but it is also sixty dollars. So this DIY crafty solution was the perfect remedy.

DIY Boba Fett Purse
MATERIALS YOU WILL NEED
olive green purse from a thrift store or online
fine tip black marker
ruler
black paint
red paint
yellow paint
paint brush
STEP BY STEP INSTRUCTIONS
Start with a reference picture of Boba Fett.
Use the ruler to find the center of your purse from side to side, and mark two points about an inch and a half from each side and about a third of the way from the top. Then draw a line between those points.
Use the ruler to create two lines up the center, ending about an inch and a half from the top line. And then create the rest of Boba Fett’s visor.
Add two cheek lines under each side of the visor. Instead of measuring the curves, I just eyed it to get the cheek lines even.
And next it’s time for paint. Start with the black paint and fill in the visor area and the two cheek stripes.
Next take red paint and add just a little bit of the black to darken it. Paint the darkened red in the space all around the visor.
Finally use yellow paint to paint rectangles above the red area on the left.
Once the paint has dried completely, your project is done.
