Bottled Emotions Miniature Bottle Charm Necklace Inspired by The Magicians
Are you a fan of The Magicians on Syfy? Show your fandom by making a miniature bottle charm inspired by the show. Use glow in the dark paint and this Bottled Emotions necklace will glow just like the charm in the show.

DIY Magicians Bottled Emotions Miniature Bottle Charm Necklace
MATERIALS YOU WILL NEED
miniature bottle
red glow in the dark paint
E6000 glue
eye pin screw
necklace chain
STEP BY STEP INSTRUCTIONS
Start with a miniature glass bottle and red paint. I used red glow in the dark paint. You can also use a non-glowing version of bright pinkish red paint if you want. Fill the bottle about half full of paint. Then roll the glass around so that the paint coats all the way up the sides of the bottle.
Next it’s time to add an eye screw to the bottle charm. Screw a small eye screw into the center of the cork. Then use a strong, clear glue – like E6000 – to secure the cork in the bottle permanently. Make sure you get complete coverage so that no air or moisture can get into the bottle.
Then use some more E6000 glue to coat the top of the cork where the eye screw is. This will make sure that the screw stays in place and doesn’t pull out of the fragile cork while you are wearing the necklace.
Despite all of the glue, you will still want to be careful with your bottle charm. It is made of glass and could shatter if you bang it against something hard enough or drop it onto a hard surface.
When the glue has dried completely, add a necklace chain, and your charm is done!

This extra long, boho-style necklace was inspired by the book series by Lev Grossman and SyFy show The Magicians. I have incorporated the key and the bee symbols that can be found all throughout the show and the colors of the coat of arms of Brakebills school of magic.
