MATERIALS YOU WILL NEED

five maps from the Disney Parks (or print out map images from the Internet)
design-your-own tumbler
tape
scissors
marker
four white 4” ceramic tiles
Mickey and Friends stickers
Mod Podge
paint brush
round felt furniture pads
jumbo decorative glass gems from the dollar store or from Amazon
magnets
glue gun and glue sticks

STEP BY STEP INSTRUCTIONS

Craft 1 : Disneyland Map Tumbler. Start with the park map and cut out the shape of the insert from your tumbler. Tape or glue on photos, tickets, stickers or anything else that reminds you of your trip to the park. I added our park tickets and a few unused fast passes to cover the writing on the corners of the map. Wrap the whole thing around into a cylinder shape and insert it into the tumbler, and you are done!

Craft 2 : Disneyland Map magnets. Cut out the bits of map you want to feature. Make sure the bits are slightly bigger than the glass gems. With a paint brush, apply Mod Podge or glue to a bit of map and put a glass gem on top.  Repeat this process for as many magnets as you want to make.  Once the Mod Podge or glue has dried completely, trim away the extra paper from around the glass gem. Hot glue magnets to the back of each piece.

Craft 3 : Disneyland map coasters. Start with four 4-inch white tiles from the hardware store, and four maps. Position the tile on top of the map and trace the square shape around the area you want on your coaster. Trim out the square, rounding the corners slightly. Then adhere the map to the tile, using a thin coat of Mod Podge.  Smooth from the center outward to remove any air bubbles. If you have any areas of text that you want to cover up, you can use stickers. Once the Mod Podge under the maps has dried, it’s time to add a coat of Mod Podge to the top of each coaster. Make sure you give each tile a generous coating all the way out to the edges. Let the Mod Podge dry completely before continuing. Once the coasters have dried, it’s time to add protective felt circle to your coasters, so that the tiles don’t scratch your table or desk. Peel and stick four felt circles on each coaster. Once your coasters are complete, store them somewhere for a full 28 days to allow the Mod Podge to cure. Once cured, your coasters will be able to withstand heat, cold and moisture without getting ruined.
